Holiday Baskets - Favorite Donations

Create a holiday package for a local senior!  Many of our clients are low-income and/or all alone for the holidays. Some haven't received a holiday gift in years.  Brighten the holidays for a local senior by working with your family, friends, or co-workers to create holiday gifts that will both provide essential items, and smiles.  Please contact Lisa if you are interested in participating.  An example of a holiday bag is listed below.

 

• Container for gifts: basket, reusable grocery bag, or large gift bag

• $50 gift card from Fred Meyers, Safeway, QFC, or Target

• 1 book of stamps

• 1 package AA batteries

• 1 package AAA batteries

• 1 bottle hand lotion

• 1 bottle hand soap

• 1 bottle shampoo

• 1 tube toothpaste

• 3 toothbrushes, soft

• 4 rolls toilet paper

• 1 box tissues

• 1 roll paper towels

• 4 – 6 ball point pens

• 2 – 3 nonperishable store wrapped goodies, like cookies, chocolate, crackers, candy, jam/jelly or nuts

• Fuzzy Blanket/Throw

• Warm hat, either knit or fleece

• Warm gloves

• 3 - pairs warm socks (loose on ankles)

• Large print puzzle book, crossword book, or novel

• Gift Card for treat or specialty item – Starbucks, McDonald’s, Burger King, Panera, PCC or Trader Joes
